1. Now it is proven that Z did not kill Nancy Marie Bennallack, as long as Richard John Davis (RJD) wasn't Z himself (was not).

2. The halloween card was sent on Oct 27th, 1970.

3. The halloween card might be a fake, e.g. from copycat Richard John Davis.

4. Still considering the halloween card to be "real", it raises one question - who is victim no. 14?

On Oct. 5th the 'Some-of-them-fought' mentioned 13 victims; however this one could have been fake, too. However, on June 26, 1970, Zodiac sent an authentic letter claiming 12 victims. So he did one month later; but claiming 13 victims (Mikado letter; removed link ). Before, it seems that Z had killed one person from 24th to 26th of July, reassuring after the Kathleen Johns letter. 

Whatsoever, Z killed his victim no. 14 in the time frame of July 26, 1970, and the halloween card, October 27, 1970. IF NOT, the card is not authentic but might be e.g. from Richard John Davis. 

Six months later, however, Z had claimed 17 victims in a very authentic LA Times letter. Thus, likely some letters had 'disappeared', eg. no. 15, 16, too. 

I do not know about any other potential victim in the timeframe between "MIKADO" and "HALLOWEEN" than Charles Lorainne Hollingsworth, missing from Lake Tahoe.

Phyllis O'Brien Carson went officially missing on the 26th but maybe she was reported a few days later than she had actually disappeared? If that was the case, this would make her a very likely Z victim (as I often had mentioned/thought). Had her clothes been disarranged? No other potential victims, in that time frame, known to me. 

IF THE HALLOWEEN card was fake, however, this time frame would have the need to be extended:

Vickie Lynne Miner 

Sunny Lyn Dagowitz 

Shannon Caprola

Marian Calhoon

Noah Alba

Four (!) of those could/shoulf be victims no. 14, 15, 16 and 17. Also, there was one Jane Doe in Twenty-nine palms, near Riverside (Case File 1222UFCA). Let's have a look at the ones with names:

LINDA CHRISTINE KANES was in the Napa area, thus she might be considered very, very likely a Z VICTIM. A second would be CAROL BETH HILBURN. Now guess what - she was a cocktail waitress, too. However her case is rather like the Bennalack one.

The others of this list were rather LA related. This makes two - who had been the other ones? Or is the halloween card FAKE with PHYLLIS O'BRIEN victim no 14? He never had claimed her..., had he lived in that area (Yettner Road, Stockton)?

We should consider to get a better focus on LCK and CBH, imo. Also, the halloween card is not necessarily considered to be real (if one has a different opinion - who should be victim no. 13; if not Hollingsworth?).

UPDATE: 

Just learned that Linda Christine Kanes was killed directly after she had left Pacific Union College - this is a very strong lead as Mike Mageau went there, too - meaning a direct connection between Zodiac, Mageau/Shepard and Linda!! Mageau and Shepard went back to PUC, after the Angwin seventh adventists market, before they got attacked at Lake Berryessa! THUS, THE PACIFIC UNION COLLEGE IS THE KEY! Also, not to forget, Shepard's ties to the Riverside / Loma Linda area.. 

Linda was believed to have left from PUC towards 'Meadowwood Country Club' St Helena - she had not appeared there - and was found only a few minutes distance away from the PUC. Her car was still at Howell Mountain road.

This, imo, ties Z to the PUC! Two victims 'accidentially' from that same school certainly did not happen by chance over a 1.5 year time span!

Half of a military bag was found, too, with "CAMCIA USS 772-999" written in it. The telephone nummber seems to be a military one. "CAMCIA" is a name, most likely of the person who it had previously belonged to.


UPDATE:

First I thought the number "772-999" might refer to the predial for Florida with "CAMCIA" most likely being the bag's owner's name. The bag was ripped into two parts, so I thought the rest of the phone number could have been on the other part of the bag. 

It seems to be different, however:

USS stands for "United States Ship"! This is great news as we do know that Z had military/navy background! So, if the crime was committed by Z  - the nylon rope almost speaks for itself - Z most likely could have stolen the bag from Mr. Camcia as being one of his veterans?

You're assuming the SCSD's interest in the Halloween card was because of the goop Zodiac added. Meanwhile, I'm not making that assumption. I don't know for certain the source of interest. It's as simple as that.

That sounds way more vague and not as interesting as "something gross" that "virtually ties" with "near certainty" Bennallack and LB crime.  

His reply: "Something included with the Halloween card. If true, it's extremely gross. I got the info from within one of the jurisdictions."

Later, I learned from my own source, that the "extremely gross" thing was that Zodiac allegedly sealed his envelopes with his own semen. I asked Tom about this directly, and he said that that was not the "extremely gross" thing related to the Halloween card. 

Yesterday, a user on his forum asked about the "extremely gross thing".

His reply: "There was something about the Halloween card that interested Bennallack investigators from the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department. What, I don't know."

Tom's first indication is that he knows what the thing included in the Halloween card is and describes it as "extremely gross". His latest post implies that he doesn't know what the thing is at all. 

I hope Tom clarifies.
