Hi,

I'm NeonRust, you may have seen my name pop up else where on Zodiac topics in the last year.

I've only been truly into the case since just over a year a go (I saw Zodiac in cinemas and loved it, then bought it on DVD but never looked any further into the case). But in the last year I have gone deeeeep down the rabbit hole. It's become my main hobby now.

I find it absolutely fascinating and it's got me into other mysteries and serial killers now.

So yeah. Hi lol

Just wanted to say hello all, I don't think I've posted in a couple years- kind of needed a break.

I also wanted to give a shout out to the Crypto Crew, definitely saw you solved the 340, congrats!

So if I could be updated on everything please ?

Looking forward to contributing where I can again, and yes, it was the "breaking news" that brought me back. I was on Twitter ? and saw a post about a certain fake suspect being cleared now and some jokes about it. Guess he's back on the list.

And look forward to meeting any new members! Hopefully being a bit removed will give me some fresh perspectives. A little bit embarrassed but impressed how far my research here evolved.

Also, I'm a Molecular Biologist/Geneticist, so hopefully I can answer any questions if people have them about techniques, but not why the heck we don't have a Z DNA profile still!

Hello everyone,

My name is Dr. Lee Mellor. I'm a criminologist and head of the behavioral committee for the American Investigative Society of Cold Cases. I also host the podcast 'Murder Was the Case', which is about 230 episodes and 50 bonus episodes deep. Murder Was the Case is running a series called 'Under the Hood' in which Zodiac researchers come forward to hang with me and present a case for their #1 suspect. Morf made his debut in episode 200 and it was well received.

For the first 40 minutes or so of each episode we compare the suspect to a profile of the Zodiac which I spent several years developing (my doctoral thesis focused on offenders who send communications). After that we can discuss anything about the suspect that didn't come up, why you think he is the culprit, and generally converse.
