A French Moroccan engineer claims to have cracked Z32 + Z13

Hi everyone! Fayçal Ziraoui, a young French Moroccan engineer, claims he solved both the Z32 and the Z13 in just 2 weeks. https://www.lecourrierdelatlas.com/zodiaque-un-franco-marocain-dechiffre-les-2-enigmes-dun-serial-killer/ He explains he considered all known Zodiac cyphers were connected. The detail of the method(s) he used is not given in the article. We only know he "discovered" that Z32's message is that was planning to blow up a school near lake Tahoe on Labor Day, while Z13 gives Zodiac's name as being "Lawrence Kayr". Ziraoui thus thinks the text contains a typo and that Zodiac's real name was actually Lawrence "Kane" Kay, a well-known suspect in the case. What do you think about it? Have you guys heard about it in the US last week?

So, I haven't had time to look myself but figure maybe someone on the board has. Does the encryption follow any cyclic use of symbols like the 408? Or is it random? Or a different type of cycle? At a glance it seems maybe more random I think?

Well done to Dave on the 340, fantastic news. Dave, it's Roger M by the way. You know who I am. Now, seeing as Dave has given you the 340 I might as well give you the Z13 key. Whether Zodiac was joking around when he gives you this name or he is naming this person as himself or an associate is unclear. I just know it's the right name. I've given you the key, the name is known to many people and is famous from 1969. His name ties in with what many of you have been discussing about Dave's findings in the past few days. Solve the anagram yourselves. Those who know will know.

I'm aware of Law Enforcement sending Z's possible DNA into the public GEDmatch databases for relative matches. Do these websites search other countries? Like England or other countries in the UK? Or is it just in the United States that they look for relative matches?

I follow other True Crime cases, mainly big ones. This includes the DB Cooper skyjacking. While listening to a Cooper podcast, the person being interviewed mentioned, briefly, in an aside, something I've never heard about the boots (or perhaps shoes) in the Zodiac Killer case. Steven Rinehart is a talk show host in Utah. He says that an FBI agent told him Z's footwear was issued at Hill Air Force Base in Utah, near Ogden. The discussion involved Richard McCoy, a Utah skyjacker who, like Cooper, jumped out of a 727 with a ransom in 1972, a few months after Cooper. Some think he was a Cooper copycat; some think he was Cooper himself. During the podcast, Rinehart discussed information from FBI and other legal system officials. He also made the case for Utah as a true crime hotspot - Elizabeth Smart, McCoy, etc. That's how it came up. The Zodiac mention is basically what I said and no more detail. He does not say whether he means the ones at the canonical crime scenes or others. Obviously, this was news to me. I have never heard it. Don't know anything about his source.
