I just got my second response from the Glendale YMCA about Harold Sullivan’s time there. They seem not so interested in helping us dig up dirt on him. They were very short and direct with their responses.

They don’t know anything about Harold and can not help us. Period.

Keep in mind we know that Harold was there, and they didn’t deny he was, but it was the way they shut down all questions that was strange. I didn’t mention anything about Zodiac or Cheri Jo, I think they may have been worried about some expose though. Something always strikes me as so odd about Harold Sullivan and his time at Glendale YMCA. This only raised my suspicion even further.

I always thought it was weird the way Harold just up and left after his wife died, and you would think he would want to keep his kids he had with her, instead he leaves them behind. Leaves for New York and goes into a new line of work. Something seems wrong there. Is it known as to how the Mother died?

May i ask what is so important about connecting Harold to YMCA? So, what if he is,does it matter? We already think he’s connected, and that Ross may have lived in the YMCA in Riverside, what is the main importance of this?

Just fishing for information. Trying to find another angle for Ross in Glendale/Riverside. But I’m thinking something may have happened, unrelated to Ross specifically. I still can’t get over that he just abandoned three sons (2 minors) in California without any other family there. So while my interest is finding more information on Ross, I still find Harold’s movements suspect by itself. When you add the death of Ross’ mother, it’s just weird.

Keep in mind that this family was probably dirt poor and 5 of them lived in small apartments. She may have been terribly unhappy.

I wonder if mental illness runs in the family here and Harriet may have committed suicide. I doubt it was a murder as someone likely would have been arrested. Would a natural death have sent Harold back to NYC without his sons? A suicide may have prompted "holy man" Harold to abandon his beliefs and family and move back to New York to become an account executive though. I wonder if the (speculative) suicide/abandonment is what prompted Ross’ problems as well since he was old enough to understand such things better than his younger brothers and may have been more deeply affected.

I have a lead for a private investigator with some ties to Vallejo and Napa, and they may be able to check some links to Vallejo for Ross. Placing Ross in Vallejo would be incredible of course. This project will be on the back burner for now, as the costs are just a little too much for me right now, at a couple hundred bucks at a time it adds up. If we can get some donations, that could speed stuff up a bit, but it will get done either way just a question of when. As always, donations are welcomed but not expected, pm me if interested

Always good to start off with saying that you are smart enough to solve Einstein equations, and then say something wrong in your very first sentence about the topic of your paper.

You got me interested to hear what he says about Ross, but this is going to be a hard one to get through.

PS. I just read it and it has nothing to do with Ross. He just says that he tried Ross’ name in his "cipher" because he heard he was a suspect.

The paper is actually really hilarious and so I won’t spoil some of the good "jokes" that he makes. But the part where he says that a picture of Cheri Jo is suspicious because people didn’t have cell phone cameras in the 60’s, so it doesn’t make any sense for someone to take her picture, had me rolling on the floor.

Well that was certainly an interesting read, though a LOT of his info and pics are seriously flawed. Kudos to that guy for trying though……

Giving a bump here but I’ll check on Binghamton info as my mom grew up there and she might have info about the family although given that she’s Jewish I’d guess she’s not going to remember much about an Espicopelian minister or his family.

Update: Talked to my mom and she said she knew two Sulluvan’s: Tom and Joe neither appear related and neither lived on Oak ave. FWIW my mom indicated that if it is correct that Ross lived on Oak he would have gone to West Jr. for Middke School and Central High for High School. She did say that there was also a Catholic High School, Seton High School but it was quite costly.

My mother lived a few blocks away from Oak at one time but moved to a different part of the city in the a Summer of 52.

She said there wasn’t anything she could remember that might have been off/strange during 1954 – 1956.

Yes, it was entertaining alright. I think it’s worthy of an appearance in the hoax thread, since that’s what it pertains to, overall.
So I’ll move my comments over there

*UPDATE* Ross acted in a student film in 1959.
The film was shot in downtown LA and Ross was the lead.

Hopefully the footage still exists.
The other filmmakers might be a great resource to find out more info on Ross.
