Not as much, lately due to other stuff interfering, but I hope to get back to building soon and flying in the spring.

The Groucho recording was online somewhere. I listened to it and that was when I recognized the particular lyric version, but my memory has played me false before. :? At the very least, I’ll post a transcription of the book lyrics.

Hmmm, looks like I may be wrong. Drat. I found, not my copy of "The Savoy Operas", but my copy of the libretto for "The Mikado", published by Dover. I’ve compared them with the transcription by Tahoe of the Groucho version and I did find one line apparently unique to it.

‘And that singular anomaly, the girl who’s never kissed,’

Same line in the Dover libretto,
‘And that singular anomaly, the lady novelist-‘

Otherwise, the lyrics are the same.

I still want to find my other book for a comparison, but I may well have goofed.

And now, my reason for transferring the thread. I found my G & S book (finally) and I was wrong. It’s the same there as the Dover libretto.
Apparently the "girl who’s never kissed" line is unique to the Groucho version.
