Definitely green, that photo is flushed out. Look at the garage door it is also faded. Police and newspaper reports both say green also. This is her car :-

The reason I bring this up is there seems to be a weird discrepancy here, everything I’ve read about her car said
it was green but clearly it’s white, kinda bizarre !

The Hakari and Bennallack apartments were very close to each other. And 105 miles to the east, about two hours drive, was the work and residence of Donna Lass in South Lake Tahoe, Nevada.

From locale of Hakari and Bennallack, Sacramento, California to site of former Sahara Casino, South Lake Tahoe, Nevada:

105 miles, about a 2 hour drive.

At the time, police believed all three murders/disappearances were linked and likely done by the same suspect.

I find it significant that both Bennallack and Hakari were lone victims living in apartments. It points to an MO by the same killer, and knowing the layout of the buildings (possibly through working in construction or real estate) would have assisted him.

Looks like a ‘it was the neighbor’ case to me.
