I should add: the article says the police believed the killer was an itinerant man from Alabama at a work camp nearby. He was suspected in the slaying of a couple of children in Alabama. The article states that multiple lie detector tests indicated deception on certain questions. It says the detectives decided that his boot prints were similar, and that they would be a match with a couple of years more wear. Sounds fishy to me, but not implausible. The guy was never tried in either case.
I would also love to know more about the cook fired from the San Moritz club a few weeks before the Boles murder. The family were last seen having dinner on the restaurant veranda and their waitress says that she saw the former employee watching them from afar for a couple of hours. Then, about 10 days before the murders, an eldery resident in the area told police that she awoke from a nap to find a man standing in the doorway to her cabin, watching her. When she confronted him, he fled. She was shown a photo line-up of potential suspects and picked out the cook. Unfortunately the article, which is a wonderfully detailed resource for us, does not mention this particular suspect’s name at all.

Have a couple of question about Robison:
Anyone in this case with the last name Collins or Harrington?
Anyone in this case tied to the phone company or the Navy?
Thanks,
Soze
Note:
I found that there were a couple of Collins mentioned in the files. I am particularly interested in everything that can be obtained on Fred Collins and John Collins.
Thanks again.
Soze,
May I ask why?
