Has anyone here interviewed Lee’s friend Norman Boudreau? In the Zodiac dvd bonus features Norman claims Lee told him the pipe bombs and bomb making supplies found in his basement must have been left there by a friend. Although I don’t feel Lee was the Zodiac I have a hard time getting past the whole bomb thing. How many people do that? Anyways, would Norman remember some names that could be that friend? It could be a stretch but Fred Manalli was in Santa Rosa the same time as Lee. I’ve often wondered if Norman would recall Fred as a friend or even Ross Sullivan.
What Norman said about the bombs in the "his name is Arthur Leigh allen" film is that "they were left there by a visitor, or an "old friend" and that they could be an important clue.
Honestly, I would have investigated Norman.
It is said that allen would have others lick his envelopes and stamps for him, however, a DNA test of the zodiac letters was negative for either Don or Arthur.
Norman fits the description of zodiac, and was defending arthur in that documentary film, and Norman did probably deserve further investigation, however, I am uncertain as to whether Norman would even make a good candidate for being zodiac, aside from looking like zodiac and knowing Leigh, there is nothing that would indicate that he had any involvement in these crimes.

I know this is probably just coincidence, but Norman looks a lot like the aged zodiac composite sketch.
(…though then again, so does richard Hoffman, so conclusions just not be drawn solely on these comparisons)
