Does anyone know how to find out who old telephone numbers belonged to?
I have some from the 1970’s I am curious about but have had no luck with websites claiming to do this. The Polk directories I’ve found online are no help to me. I’m thinking there is a trick to finding old telephone numbers and addresses that I’m missing.

Capricorn, if you would like to PM me the phone numbers, I can try. I have pretty good luck with the Directories. Or you can just post the phone numbers as it is doubtful they still belong to the same people who had them 40+ years ago.
