I think changing the site caused a lot of difficulty for many of us. By no means am I an old hat or an expert. But I have definitely found the new site more difficult to navigate and use.

to find it AT ALL was the issue in the beginning..

Still here. 

I mourn for the thousands of broken links on my sites and in my notes that would take many days to manually convert to point to the new locations of those posts.  ? 

I can’t contribute much, but let’s get this forum up again.
On this board I have always felt free, unlike in other dark places, here there has always been respect among members regardless of opposing ideas.

All I have to say is LULA 2023, I am very happy, the nightmare is over here!

Morf you’ve always have  been a good admin and spokesperson for our community why are the reddits or Tom’s site now the only active ones ?

When i was new to this case the zodiac killer site was the most welcoming.

I hope it will that again.

and apparently Morf has not even felt the need to respond, so IMHO it’s not strange that this forum doesn’t work or has any life,

this is a VERY sad situation! ? 

When the Mac research broke I was excited for Morf to have his own forum to be a hoppin’ place to follow developments but it seemed to all go to another forum, which surprised me.  But it got so contentious there maybe it’s just as well.  I don’t know.

Just checked, and Morf has not visited this forum since: Last seen: Oct 19, 2022

SO it is 1 month since Morf (the boss, leader and owner of this forum) entered this his own forum, what a joke !!! ? ? 

On the other hand Morf is active on Twitter, his podcast and on his facebook but apparently have no time for this forum !

I am still here but agree with the consensus that this site is difficult and seems to have been largely abandoned by Morf and others.

BTW today researchers will have a press conference and reveal newly obtained CIA files showing Lee Harvey Oswald was on the CIA payroll in the summer of 1963 and he passed out pro Castro leaflets.  Essentially totally disproving the Warren Report lie that Oswald was a crazy communist who acted alone. 

CIA most likely the dirtiest division asa they start to get themselves involved into politics.

The Citizen Detective web episodes that Morf is doing must take some effort and time to script and present.

(I believe one of them is more than 3 hours long, which brings to mind George Cukors comment about how much the human mind could concentrate.)

If anyone has an angle or research about a line of enquiry which could help move along or solve any criminal/missing person case, it might be helpful to Morf to use in an episode.

I’ll be offering one such case to him myself (via the PM system on WebSleuths, as we don’t have PM here anymore, and the admin contact in one of the menu’s here didn’t seem to be functional).

Back in the day I seem to remember using either funduc.com FAR (find and replace) which had 32 & 64 bit versions, OR S&R 103 (maybe only 32 bit), to easily replace text phrases jn multiple flles in one go – for URL’s part replacement, one of these may be helpful if you have access to your complete website’s data. I believe the latter of those was the easier to use.

Hello, I decided not to get too immersed in that matter, I think a few years back when I did look at one website, the guy was trying to search frame by frame to see if the actual round was visible moving through each frame.

I thought the SS-accidently-firing-an-M16 theory answered some of the strange happenings, such as the high powered M16 round fragmenting in Kennedy’s skull and a fragment striking the ground by the fence and raising a small dust cloud into the air (as you must have witnessed when you have fired at a large firing range), hence the two workman on the bridge ‘seeing’ a puff of smoke by/at the fence but finding no-one behind the fence when they immediately hustled down there. Also explains the Secret Service monstering the autopsy people to get any bullets from Kennedy’s body, otherwise why would the Secret Service agents do/act like that?

The guy that wrote the book on that theory probably didn’t figure out one thing about that theory – if an M16 did fire a round, the sound of the firing (on a somewhat horizontal plane at ground level, unlike Oswald firing from height downwards) would have caused the high powered M16 gunshot sound to hit and then reflect back (echo) off the upper part of the bridge, explaining why people heard a differing number of shots (in the event, possibly Oswald fired a shot just as the M16 discharged or just as the echo came back, further confusing the issue).
