You know what’s funny? In a police report richard Hoffman spells "til" as "till"

You do know that the officers did not type up those reports? They gave their notes to secretaries who then used them to type up the reports.

While that May seem reasonable, there is no evidence that Hoffman had his secretary type up the report, I actually could not even verify that Hoffman had a secretary or assistant.

If you can provide some evidence that Hoffman had his secretary type his reports, or that Hoffman even had a secretary, I Will change my opinions as the facts dictate.

Also, the reports are in the first hand, for example they will say "writer then proceeded to…"

Which indicates that the officer was personally writing the report.

Example below:

Ask Tom Voigt.

Also, the reports are in the first hand, for example they will say "writer then proceeded to…"

It could also be indicative someone else is typing the words of the person who wrote the note, else it would say "I".

Ask Tom? You are the one challenging the notion.

I simply commented on the coincidence that Hoffman has the same initials as the poem writer, and made a misspelling that was also present in the poem, and you are saying there is no coincidence because Hoffman did not write the report, which is all well and good, but am I supposed to just take your word for it? Or is there some evidence which confirms what the situation actually was?

I saw a post from Tom indicating that Nancy slover typed the police reports from hand written notes, and While this might have been the case, several reports, such as the one I attached to my last post, were typed by the actual officer. So it comes down to the specific report.

I will look into who wrote the report for Hoffman with the mispelling, though all indications at this point suggest that it was Hoffman himself who typed it.

Regardless, this is just an "add-on", it wouldn’t be considered anything more than circumstantial evidence even if I confirmed that Hoffman typed the report.

And you know this for fact? How so? No, you don’t, but we do have Nancy Slover saying they typed up the reports from notes by the officers.
