I guess the part that sticks in my craw, is why did Zodiac take credit for "Riverside". And did Zodiac in fact lead Paul Avery to this conclusion through
other communication? I mean how did that develop? Did Zodiac hope they would find Cheri Jo’s actual killer and then blame that guy for all the
Zodiac murders, leaving him free? Whoever killed Cheri Jo, left his hair on her hands… is this or is this not Zodiac? Handwriting analysis is subjective
at best, and is one of the hardest things to prove in a court of law. The patterns of writing the three letters, sending letters to the press, the voice of
the writer lend to this being the Zodiac. I know folks would like to separate the killer from the letter writer, but my belief is you are reading the words
of a pyscho killer. Official opinions on the handwriting analysis differ at best. Perhaps a fresh look is in order. Right now, I want to know what Riverside
did with the other DNA evidence they have from Cheri Jo’s crime scene. Has any of this been run through CODIS?
This is a very old thread but I thought you might be interested to know that this person has been claiming to know the identity of the infamous "Omega Man" counterfeiter of 1907 high-relief St Gaudens $20 coins, among others, back in the early 70s. Posting as "ToTellTheTruth". It lines up as far as identity – Tuscon "doctor", claims in parts of below coin forum thread to be the foremost expert on deciphering Zodiac messages, etc. Claims to have a movie coming out about Omega Man. Same general shtick. Seems to have a lot of coin people convinced, at least partially. Apparently had some previous threads on below forum deleted a year or more ago due to some kind of abuse of forum rules, then came back.

That guy is a fraud. You listen to him at your own risk. I remember his antics from like 2006 or 2007. I don’t want to repeat the things he was saying about my research but he was crammed full to the brim of you-know-what. Ugh! Have to take a shower now just seeing that name again. There are not many people I’d address with a string of expletives but he is one of them.

One of our Moderators (Tahoe27) reported that Ken Mains informed her they did find male DNA from
Cheri’s pants and on the wristwatch recovered at the crime scene.
