Cheri Jo and her Boyfriend
Original note left by Cheri Jo for her Father on the night she went to the RCC Library.
That stuff was posted 20 years ago.
Yeah, I’ve seen this stuff before but thanks traveller. I wonder why Cheri’s note is written in ink but the word Library is underlined with what appears to be pencil.
Yeah, I’ve seen this stuff before but thanks traveller.
Agreed. And I’m just glad it didn’t get tossed or stolen.
Tahoe needs to find out what Sal is like in real life. Does he smoke as much as on TV ?
Is that the boyfriend who Bud Kelley claimed killed Cheri Jo?

Must have been sad–and a bit strange, to sit there with the actual items though. The note looks like it was written yesterday.
Sal was super cool. I didn’t get to experience his smoking habits, but he was a pleasure to "work" with. Both he and Ken were. Long hours and in the midst of all the horrific things discussed, we had some laughs along the way.
Is that the boyfriend who Bud Kelley claimed killed Cheri Jo?
Nope.
Is that the boyfriend who Bud Kelley claimed killed Cheri Jo?
That’s Cheri Jo’s boyfriend/fiancee Dennis Highland.

Someone told me the context. I understand now.
This note leaves me somewhat emotional.
I know guys that the images have been seen before, photographed, printed etc but my interest/purpose in posting these was for several reasons. Primarily so that we had on site a good quality digital image of them. To show (as you guys said in your posts) the human aspect of this in that the note has been kept all these years and for the benefit of people who are new or newish to this case and the forum. Makes it more upfront rather than digging through years of posts … although we encourage that too.
