I thought we needed to show some photos of the location to get a better sense of where this all took place. There are some good ones out there so please, post them if you have them.

Note in this photo, the fence (although redesigned), is in the background. That is basically the side of a hill that today, drops to an athletic field. Looks like some of the trees remain to this day. Also, look at the direction the lady in the photo is looking:

This street to the right would have been where Cheri was attacked—which at the time, was a dirt road, no lighting, trees and empty houses owned by the college:
