I’ve looked for this on a few forums and can’t find any mention of it. I was listening to the audio book of Zodiac and it states that Riverside had a suspect in custody. I’ve lost my copies of the actual book years ago and will listen to the audio book a few times per year. I will pick up on a couple things i’ve either forgotten or never paid attention to with each listen. 98% of the stuff i know if it belong in the accurate or BS pile. However, there is still that 2% that i have no idea if RG invented it or not. Does anyone know for sure if Riverside EVER had a suspect in custody for the Bates murder?
