http://napavalleyregister.com/news/loca … 002e0.html http://napavalleyregister.com/news/loca … 963f4.html http://napavalleyregister.com/news/die- … 90094.html Lots of corruption in Napa over the years and would you know where the Bucky Stewart Ranch is? Guess he boarded Napa Police there. Wonder what Dennis and Raymond Land’s parents occupation? I bet they lost a lot of money when Lake Berryessa Dam was finished in 1953. The best soil in America some say. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lake_Berryessa . Ken Narlow said He also had the cooperation of the three sheriffs in office during the years of his involvement. Earl Randol, Bucky Stewart and Gary Simpson all "gave me full rein until the day I retired in 1987." Maybe they all worked in tandem or in some way and isn’t it convenient of Pat Stanley, "About an hour after the attack, the Napa Police Department received a call from a man claiming responsibility for the stabbing. Pat Stanley, then KVON’s news director, was making his early morning rounds and discovered a phone off the hook near Mike Black’s car wash on Main Street and alerted authorities." I’ll update after. Thank you.

If you Google Stewart Ranch Napa California you will find many articles. Stewart Ranch is well known for their "Oreo Cows", a breed officially known as Belted Galloway, because the ranch is located on the frontage road next to Highway 29 entering Napa from the south and has high visibility.

An ancestor of the original Stewart that settled the land in the early 1900’s continues to live there and work the ranch.

Stewart Ranch became dubiously and locally famous as the place where the body of missing 5 year old Doreen Heskett was found in 1963. While some Zodiac researchers have loosely tried to connect Zodiac to her murder, it is more likely that a man named Claude Ray did the crime. Please Google for more info on that crime.

Seagull…

You’re always a wealth of information. Doreen Heskett, I remember that name, I must have read her case way back when. I’ll have to google it. We lived in Santa Clara, Ca back then, about 2 hours S. of Napa. I’ll have to refresh the brain cells. Thanks…..

Bay, I found a pretty good online article about Doreen Heskett that also includes information about Claude Ray and the fact that he was suspected of committing Doreen’s murder.
