Also, in the document doranchak presented it lists the hardens and the FBI as being two ssources for solving the 408. Why do you think they didn’t mention there was three given the code key letter?

I can’t remember why this is coming to mind, but for some reason I thought it was addressed to Sgt. Roy Conway.

I tried to double check the source for it being Sgt Lynch, but failed to locate it.
I would like to know what Conway is associated with if you don’t mind sharing.

Best I could come up with for Conway was a quote from him about the inauthenticity of a 1987 letter:

Pretty sure something was mailed to Conway. Maybe the Fairfield letter? I commented on it a long time ago at the zk.com mb.

In the FBI files, the page with the actual code key is Q18. And I found the following, which seems to indicate that the FBI knew this letter was sent by a school teacher. Probably none other than Donald Harden. I scoured briefly through this thread and hope that I am not posting double information.
