I am skeptic myself of the Hardens being behind Zodiac but like to keep an open mind. It’s interesting to say the least. Some people think it is unlikely that Donald Harden sent the code key because it does not make sense but perhaps in some perspective it does. The FBI document clearly states "Q16 – Q18 Not involved, letter from anony. (school teacher) cracking cryptogram" and this statement was made 2 months after the documents Q16 – Q18 were examined for fingerprints. Another FBI document states that fingerprints were found on Q16 – Q18.

Yep Jarlve and I keep a open mind as well. I’m not saying the Hardens are Zodiac either but dang a lot of stuff leads back to them. Great work and of course I’m no writing expert but the letters in your example match pretty good to me from my untrained eyes,

Well said and trust me I’ve had my far share of ridicule and even threatened with expulsion from this site for suggesting the Harden’s are the Zodiac. To me it’s a case of the Emperors new clothes – Harden was a Hero who helped solve the first cypher so he MUST be one of us and to suggest he could be involved is blasphemy. However what if this was the ‘GAME’ all along? Harden knowing he was a School Teacher and a Family man who Solved the first cipher knew this would give him an Alibi that he just couldn’t be involved – and that feeling persists to this day! Hell, my Donald Harden thread is locked away in the ‘TOP SECRET’ section that can’t be accessed by Google or non-members on this site. How is that going to help solve the case? I have even had people claiming that Bettye’s Cryptic message/slash confession in the RG Salinas library book was a Fake, just so it can fit the narrative of the Harden’s being ‘no go’ suspects – I’m not advocating for Ted Cruz here but, for FK’s sake this person was involved from the start and should be well and truly in the ‘Suspects’ thread!

Once you conclude that Harden wrote the Concerned Citizen card – you have to start looking at the mistake on the 6th line ‘SIGNATURE’ and the Signature 6 written on Hardens worksheet? WHY IS IT THERE???

Defuser I followed your post in the past on here and seen the negative feedback you get. You are right and many members think they are heroes and why not to question them. I also believe Bettye Harden writing in the book was a confession as well. LE believed the code key sender was Zodiac, Jarlve is proving the sender of that was Harden. I think that speaks loud!
