What if there was a second layer of some sort of info (besides the textbased solution) about his identity? He was talking about his identity being in the code, right?

Zodiac could have said "In this cipher is my name."But he did not. He said "In this cipher is my identity."

I believe Zodiac’s identity is still in the cipher. He probably masked it with a text-based solution to the cipher as a red haring for everyone to follow.

At this point this is all just a theory but using my computer and a graphical program I saw a patern appearing that you can’t see when you read the cipher itself. The patern looks like something is hidden inside the code and looks like something we all see as a man’s identity. Such a patern fits into my theory about Z’s ID in this code and that he didn’t lie. I will try to "decode" (which isn’t the correct word for this graphical puzzle) the hidden message from the patern I see. The patern is there now making it complete.
