Just thought I would post some items I came across while digging through some old files. This is from a collection of original files, negatives and photos that were used by the local Solano County newspapers for the stories they were publishing about the Zodiac murders/attacks. There are a number of original files, photos and negatives. I haven’t photographed them all (I couldn’t get great quality scans – will be working on making them better) but I have been given permission to publish them here. These are courtesy of the Vallejo Naval and Historical Museum. I work/voluteer there and have been creating an archive of these items so they don’t get destroyed/go missing. If you are local to the area and would be interested in seeing them for yourself, please PM me (as I am basically the custodian of them at this point) and we can discuss it, as they are not available for general public view (at this point in time).

This particular file/photo set seems fairly self explanatory…

I will be posting more….most likely tomorrow.

Thanks!

Thank you for posting & keeping the files safe & in order.
Been there a few times & love researching there. I copied their Z file, but sure wasn’t in any order at that time.

Here’s another one that I am glad to see still exists. This photo has been featured in a number of newspapers that reported on the Lake Herman attack. The fact that the original arrows and crop marks are still on the photograph is something I am very pleased to see. Hard to believe after (almost) 50 years……

Thanks!
