Wow….time flies! I have been meaning to post more items here, but got busy with other things, and next thing you know – it’s 2020!
Anyways, got a couple more things to post at this time regarding old photos and negatives that we have been able to locate. These are scans of the actual negatives and the actual photos (from the negatives) of Betty Lou’s family, which were used in an article reporting on an interview they gave to either the Vallejo Times Herald or The News Chronicle (I have a copy of the newspaper this was published in, just can’t locate it at this moment). I wish I could post high res scans of these, as they are in good condition and the higher resolution would be nice.
These are courtesy of the Vallejo Naval and Historical Museum. I work there as an amateur historian and author and have been creating an archive of these items so they don’t get destroyed/go missing. If you are ever in the area and would be interested in seeing them for yourself, please PM me (as I am basically the custodian of them at this point) and we can discuss it, as they are not available for general public view (at this point in time).
Thanks!
