Rite, found one source for this…..

That’s the blonde part covered. WC do you think you also remember reading somewhere the other information, age, crew cut, glasses?

I don’t know Chief, he’s very smart or very dumb.

Yeah I am almost certain that one of the accounts specifically stated a description of the suspect and it was White male, late 20 -early to mid 30’s, short light crew cut hair and glasses. I remember for the specific reason of it being so very consistent with many Zodiac descriptions especially from P. Heights (all bar the age being slightly lower than Foukes estimate)

I always have this nagging feeling that Donna knew who Zodiac was and that is why she, with Zodiac rite on her tail, moe to the same area at the same time. I think Donna may have known too much. Maybe she knew what she dhouldn’t have and Zodiac saw her as a liability.

Let’s say she knows who he is while’s he active in the Bay area and then out of the blue she informs him she is departing for a new start in S.L T with job already in the bag. This may have instantly cause Z to feel extremely paranoid and wondering who she will open her mouth too and say things she shouldn’t say while there without his being there to deter it. Maybe he decided that the risk was too high and she had to be eliminated?

That may also be why Z seemed so interested in heading for the the presidio area and that is isn’t just a mere coincidence that Donna just happened to work on that grounds in the Hosp.

Also, he not going to want to have this victim discovered because he know’s her and she can easily be linked to him?

Was this guy investigated by the police? Seems like it would have been very easy to check to see if he took time off work unexpectedly like the next day if he was scheduled to work then.

This woman didn’t seem to report anything at the time and I don’t recall any talk of this prior to Tracers "chat" with her. I can tell you I did contact the S.L.T.P.D. and exchanged some information with a detective there. Of course they won’t tell you what they discover…unfortunately.

…they may be dealing with one or more ersatz Zodiacs–other psychotics eager to get into the act, or perhaps even other murderers eager to lay their crimes at the real Zodiac’s doorstep. L.A. Times, 1969

Rightly or wrongly, that makes me suspicious of this claim. Now I hope it’s not misunderstood as me implyin this person is a liar, not at all. Hindsight is a great thing when you look back and are fully aware that Lass disappeared and all of a sudden her speaking to a lab tech (which she may well have done countless times and nobody took notice) is now automatically connected to her disappearance and the tech is now some shadowy, strange and odd fellow who’s importance may be magnified and exaggerated and not deliberately so on the suspicious persons part. Just seems strange to me that if Donna speaking to him is now all of a sudden odd decades on, why wasn’t it important and suspicious enough to report back in 1970?
The claim of being too scared is something that I look at with a sceptical frown also, this isn’t a Mafia Don, it’s a photo lab tach.
