Yes, she broke off an engagement. He referred to "Bonnie" during one of his attacks.

I saw something about this where it’s believed he referred to Bonnie in more than one attack. At least one other said they heard him in another room wimpering and saying "I’m sorry mommy", but the one victim said he clearly said "Bonnie". It’s believed he said Bonnie the other time and it was misunderstood as mommy.

Yep, she was pretty easy to find, under her maiden & married name, and High School. And maybe a blog. I feel for her as her bad break up is back in a sense. And I truly feel bad for his children & grandchildren. One daughter went back to the house today, to pick up a few things. She also had a cat carrier. I’m obsessed, I want to read everything I can find, regarding this story.

I’m sure she’ll be mortified that she didn’t read about this monster saying her name at crime scenes. She’d have probably put 2 and 2 together and called the tip line if she had.

Don’t know where they get St Columbine in ’53, all reports say he graduated from Folsom High School in 1964.

Of course, I was wrong about who the EAR/ONS was, as was every other amateur researcher and police detective. But Morf and myself were right about a few things. Both Morf and myself felt strongly, and wrote about, that the EAR/ONS very likely started off as the Visalia Ransacker. That has now been proven correct.

Morf also discovered and did ground breaking research, in which I later joined him, on a possible "Ground Zero" of early confirmed and possible EAR attacks, which were concentrated in the Dawes and Dolcetto area of Rancho Cordova, Sacramento.

Some were VR like, and included break ins, dog killings, peeping Tom incidents, prowling, obscene phone calls, all the way up to bound rapes of young girls, teens and women, culminating in the murders of the Maggiores.

And it turns out the EAR/ONS, Joseph DeAngelo, attended California State University at Sacramento, which is less than 8 miles away from this Ground Zero, the Dawes and Dolcetto area of Rancho Cordova.

At the EAR/ONS ProBoards forum,I was alerted by desertrunner that Joseph DeAngelo attended Mills Middle School / Jr. High. That is right in the heart of this potential Ground Zero of early EAR activity. Just 0.6 miles from the intersection of Dawes and Dolcetto.

That means that DeAngelo would indeed have been very familiar with this area, both from attending the Mills Middle School – Jr. High right in the heart of this Ground Zero, and later as an adult going to California State University at Sacramento, just 7 miles from this area.

And by attending that Mills Middle School, it is also the case that DeAngelo would have lived in that neighborhood. Indeed I just found out from Portofleith that his parents owned a home very close to the Rancho Cordova area. I’m now trying to determine if his parents owned a home in that area anytime in 1973 to 1978. If so, it’s very possible DeAngelo could have had a room in that house or at least had access to it.

DeAngelo is charged with the murders of USAF Sgt. Brian Maggiore and his wife Katie. This will likely be the hardest case to get a conviction on. The other murders he is charged with they have his DNA recovered from the bodies of the murdered women.

In the Maggiore case it appears all they may have is DNA to connect him to the shoelaces found at the scene, as well as witness, circumstantial and MO evidence.

It might help the prosecution to be able to prove that DeAngelo was familiar with this neighborhood, by virtue of having attended school here and living here as a teen growing up. And even better, if his parents still owned a home there in 1978, that he had a nearby place he could go to after killing the Maggiores, hide and change clothes.

Sorry…after I edited, I forgot to state that I had pulled this from one of morf’s posts, elsewhere. One of my friends did share this with me pretty early on, but not sure who originally found it.

One of his next door neighbors, posted photos of LE going through the GSK’s back yard on instagram. It was said that a lot of empty beer cans where in this little shed. Someone said, he might be going through DT’s (withdraws) As he might of been a beer alcoholic. Might explain him, looking like he was in pain & out of it- in that wheelchair.
