First let me say I think this is a great place here. I’ve been browsing it just a couple days and already felt compelled to join. A little about me in relation to all this. Like many people, I have pretty much always had a fascination with serial killers and generally the macabre. Most people who you divulge such information will usually judge you right away. So stumbling upon here where it’s considered common place is really refreshing. I also am a slasher movie buff and seeing as most truly great slasher films were inspired by actual events, it all just piques my interest further into serial killers. But let me not trail off into side topics.

I’ve found myself researching "Z" specifically lately again because of the recent breakthrough in the 340 cipher. And then after realizing it’s December…a month where a lot more Zodiac related events took place than I realized, it’s safe to say it’s been on my mind. But I was nowhere near being anywhere near being near alive when it all took place. However, Z has also stood out to me, because of one thing in particular. Kathleen Johns. Where her story supposedly took place, that’s my stomping ground. And of course my older relatives would tell me their recollection of living through the time he was at large. Furthermore I found myself completely enthralled recently with the "Barry Wysling" saga posted here after discovering the YouTube video by chance. And most recently, the Richard Hoffman theory. Of course I’m aware of the "usual" or should I say, unusual, suspects. But those two particular ones, were new to me.

And with the 340 cipher decoded as well, one of the men involved in that stated that he was also trying to decode the others. So I figured what better place to be at if and when that ever happens. I should preface everything by saying though, I’m no sleuth. And I’m really bad at math. So the extent of my input will just be opinions and inquiries. I’m thoroughly impressed by watching members here channel Sherlock Holmes, though. :ugeek:
