My name is Mike Rodelli. I have been interested in the case since 1998. At that time, I began reading over all the threads on the investigation and speaking to Jake Wark and Jonathan Zychoowski, Jr. I eventually started a dialogue with Mike Kelleher. By June 1999, I had an idea that Z may have written a letter to the Bay Area newspapers under his own name to commemorate the six month anniversary of his first murders. This led a former colleague of mine, Ed Neil, acting on my behalf and carrying out my own original idea, to just one letter from June 26, 1969. That letter was written by one of the wealthiest and most powerful men in the city of SF. We then began researching this man and assembling a circumstantial case. Ed dropped out of the research on his own volition and against my pleas to keep digging in June or July 2000, thus leaving me on my own.
Since that time, my research has been covered in three article or blogs in the Chronicle, I appeared on national television on ABC’s Primetime Thursday in 2002, I contributed to the 2007 movie, Zodiac, and in 2010 one of the elite behavioral profilers in the world, Richard Walter, one of the three co-founders of the prestigious Vidocq Society of Philadelphia, stated in a bestselling book that I have solved the Zodiac case.
