Hello, my name is James and I’m from England. I don’t profess to know much about the Zodiac killings or if they have been solved. My interest is the cipher which no one can understand which is the 340 cipher. I have autism and part of my illness is that I can see shapes and patterns that one one else can see. I can do word searches in seconds but the illness has it’s drawbacks, if I read newspapers I see patterns between the words and letter alignments from top to bottom that stops me reading properly. It makes it difficult for me to read and this happens on computers too sometimes but it is better than newspapers because there is no filling in with spaces like newspaper and magazine text. One of the other weird things I can do is read text that’s back to front as quick as I can do forwards. If you write a paragraph on a piece of paper and hold it up to me so the text is facing yourself and I can see through the paper from the other side, I can read it as fast as you can. I love working with numbers and letters and spot lots of things quickly. When I first came across the 340 text I could read it straight away. Reading something straight away is the end product but not the answer and for me to show you how the zodiac cipher was done will never be easy but I can try and if I may I’ll make a post about what is written and what the patterns are.
