Hello to all. I am interested in looking at some of the form and layout of the letters, especially the ciphers. There seems to be a lot of material on the letters, and I’m wondering who might have addressed these things.
For instance, the writing is horribly smudged in some instances. Have people speculated why?

welcome + yes indeed it is smudged because the letters have been analyzed for ink, prints, paper, dna etc which is why chemicals had been used on them. Looking forward to you finding the cleartext, check out Oranchak’s webtoy (google).
