Zodiac was a screwup. He left behind five breathing victims, two survivors, bootprints, possibly fingerprints and palmprints, tiretracks, eyewitnesses, and earwitnesses. If the APB had gone out for a WMA he would have been locked up in ’69.
I did not save the link, but the guy’s names are Terry, Tracy and Stacy Childs. Terry is the oldest and a serial killer. I heard, but can find no proof, that Tracy Childs was killed in prison? Stacy is probably in a prison somewhere.

I had read that the middle brother, Tracy Childs(in my classes since junior high), had been killed in prison, though I can find no corroborating information. I personally never had an issue with any of those guys, but I know others were not as lucky as me. Way back then it was all about who your friends were, and mine were not the kind of guys you wanted to pick on.
It was hard to know who was killing who in Northern California at that time, we had a bunch of serial killers active in our area. It was made easy for the killers, because we all hitch hiked every where and most folks were picking up hitch hikers including my father. All I ever met hitching were great people who just wanted to help others and have someone to talk to, and to smoke some of the weed we all carried with us. Another time in another place.

Confirms me in my attitude to not send children to school. Teach them read-write-calculate and possibly how to repair a dishwasher and let them go. Free.

Hi and welcome! Wow to grow up with a serial killer how chilling. That pic of him is so haunting. What was he like growing up? Did you see or sense a mean or cruel side to him? Did he get in trouble at school? I now live in Napa. But lived in Half Moon Bay and Moss Beach in late 70’s and early 80’s. I saw that “cold” side to my brother and what he did but no one else believed me. He had no guilt for what he did, only if he got caught. He fit a type of bed wetting, cruelty to animals, and lighting things on fire.
