Hi y’all! I’m not sure when I first got interested in the Zodiac case. I think it happened many years ago when I did an internet search of unsolved murders. I’d long been a fan of true crime books and shows, but when I first read in depth about the these murders with the weird letters..it grabbed my attention. I remember reading a piece from an armchair sleuth that believed Qvale was Z, and I agreed. Then, I watched the movie and was convinced ALA did it. Then Gyke. Seems like I’m changing my mind constantly. I’ve even come up with a few persons of interest on my own. I’m actually working on a poi right now, but I could change my mind again next week. I guess I don’t have a favorite suspect. It’s probably someone that we have never heard of!!

I read the boards and groups from time to time, as well as take long breaks from researching Z. I don’t know (or maybe it’s that I don’t remember) as much about the case as a lot of you do. I love reading your theories and try to keep an open mind. I’m of the opinion that whoever Z was, that he seemed pretty normal to those around him. That he was able to blend right in, and is why he was never caught. I really admire Tahoe also. That was a huge clue that she discovered with the comic book connection!! I’m also looking at a movie connection that I haven’t seen mentioned before. Not referred to in any of the letters, but may have served as an inspiration. I’ll post that theory soon, as I’m still working on it.
