I’m a transfer from the old site and admire anyone who sets up a message board and maintains it. So, another thanks to Morf and to his support team, the Mod Squad. :D

I think I’m the old lady of the board. I’ve been retired a few years and mostly enjoy life now at my own pace. I started studying the Zodiac killer in the early 1980s when I re-entered college after dropping out in 1967 (no, I wasn’t a hippy … I got married  ). I’ve forgotten more about the case than I now know or can remember but I would dearly love to see this solved in my lifetime.

Glad to be on board here.

When in doubt, don’t.

Patinky,
Glad you joined us at the former board & this one. I don’t see older as old, I see it as wiser, more mature & worldly.
And I so agree, I want this case solved in my life time!

Zincerely, Zam*

Hi Pat,

Great to have you here and as Zam said, wise not old. I’ve always found your thinking to be sharp and creative.

Patinky, older has it’s perks you know! We’ve learned how to sift quickly through the unimportant stuff to focus on what counts! Retirement is cool at least once you get the hang of it! LOL Glad you’re here.

Thanks everyone. This is a great group and the kind of people you can cuss and discuss variances with and know that it’s been worthwhile time spent.

Seagull, just call me Quicksifter. :P

When in doubt, don’t.

Nice introduction! Happy to have you posting. :)

Why thank-you, Seagull.

You haven’t mentioned it so I’m going to. Have you noticed my sig line. I changed it a few months ago thinking you would notice. I love your avatar.

When in doubt, don’t.

I did notice your sig line. Is it really a line from Palindrome? I do remember the western Paladin and know your sig is a play on that. It’s very cool of you to honor me in that way!!!!

No, I was just having some fun. I wasn’t sure if you’d recognize the play on words between palindrome and Paladin since Paladin was on television so many years ago. I liked the show back then but it just seems weird to me now, but I love the theme song. It took me a good while to recognize that tacocat was a palindrome.

When in doubt, don’t.

Patinky I did not realize tacocat was a palindrome until you said something!! DUH!

I do remember Paladin. One of dad’s favorites. Those were the days when what dad wanted to watch trumped anyone else’s choice. The kids were essentially the "remote control" and thank God I had a brother and didn’t have to go on the roof to adjust the antenna to fine tune the TV!!!

Oh wow! Sounds like you were raised in my household. Daddy’s Choice was the House Choice. No cartoons on Saturday because there were ballgames on! Oh well. I kind of think those were better days for kids than a lot of what I see now.

Glad you enjoyed the Tacocat thing. I really did do it for fun and, hopefully, for your enjoyment. I decided I better say something in case you had everyone’s sig line turned off. I’m going to leave it up for a while though. You have a great Thanksgiving, Seagull!

When in doubt, don’t.
