Below are two documents. The first is Larry Cane’s registration form he filled out in 1995, and the second document is part of the ‘Concerned Citizen’ letter that gives the key the breaking the Zodiac’s code.
Compare the handwriting of Lawrence Cane above, with the ‘Concerned Citizen Key’ below.
"So it’s sorta social. Demented and sad, but social, right?" Judd Nelson.
Not the worst I’ve seen. Some things look not too bad like the P’s and the Z for once but I’ve highlighted some differences that would make me say nope.
1. The W’s and V’s in the key don’t join. Cane’s W not only joins but it’s rounded where as the key w’s aren’t.
2. Canes C’s are top heavy whereas the C’s in the key have more of an understroke and neither match Zodiac’s.
3. Cane’s B is angular whereas the Key’s B’s are rounded.
4. Cane’s E’s seem to favour and upward top stroke where as the Key’s E’s have level tops.
I’ve picked these examples as they are repeated consistently indicating a writing habit.
