Several thing’s strike me as significant when looking at these three FBI Documents regarding Kane as a Zodiac suspect…

1. Kane wasn’t investigated untill Jan of 1991, the date shown on this Document.

2. Vallejo PD say that "Investigation has placed KANE in the locales where several of the Zodiac’s victims either lived, or were killed"

3. Vallejo PD inform the FBI that they have Re-Opened their Zodiac Cold Case in 1991, so whatever it was they found in their Investigation of Kane, it must have been strong enough to warrent Vallejo PD re-opening their investigation of the case.

Just to give one quick example of the proximity of Mr Kane to one of the Victims, here’s an aerial view of the house Kane was staying at, and the location where Paul Stine Picked up Zodiac on Oct 11.

Neat but circumstantial. Six degrees of separation in Southern California.

Yes, Circumstantial. I don’t recall claiming anything to suggest otherwise? I didn’t suggest, as far as I can see, that the case should now be declared solved and closed based on the close proximity Of Kane’s residence and the location that Paul picked up his final, deadly ‘customer’. I think that may be why I chose to use the word "Example" as opposed to words such as "Proof" or "Evidence" lol.

"Kane couldn’t be Zodiac, he’s too boring." This is what a member of another well know site informed me several months ago. Well that’s it then, proof beyond all doubt that Kane wasn’t Zodiac….L -O – L. I will never forget being told that because it just goes to show that some people seem to have an attitude of "No No, don’t bother with me with silly things such a evidence and logic because my mind is made up that Lawrence Kane isn’t Zodiac because he’s not what I imagine Zodiac to be like and just too boring." I meat to say something like "Kane can’t be Z, he’s too boring" is indirectly saying "The identity of the Zodiac rests on who I deem worthy of being Zodiac, and extravagant and exciting enough to meet my expectations."

HAHAHA!!! I wonder what site that person could have been from! Probably the same site that pretty much runs off anyone who doesn’t agree with the webmasters theories.

That’s the one! Under no circumstances must you even think about going there and having an opinion of your own. How dare you! Lol

Say, someone in VPD thinks one of the ciphers says his name is Kane, he was born in 1924 and he’s Jewish? That’s interesting.

Mr. Horan has a pretty good theory, though I don’t agree with all of it.

Yeah Smithy, apparently they did. And as the documents show, they even re-opened their Zodiac cold case in 1991 to investigate Kane based on what you stated above, and also after their investigation discovered that Kane lived in the area where several of the Z victims either lived, or were killed.

WC – do you know how they arrived at those conclusions? The cipher ones?

Aside from the "Kane my name" decipher, isn’t the most evidence they’ve had against Lawrence Kane was (Darlene Ferrin’s sister) Pam Huckaby’s [1] (dubious) claims that Kane followed Darlene for months prior to her murder. And survivor (also dubious) Kathleen Johns[2], who may or may not have actually been abducted, identified him as her abductor?

1. "According to Blaine and others, Narlow staked-out Gaikowski’s home as part of his investigation of the suspect, but stopped the investigation after Pam Huckaby, the sister of Zodiac victim Darlene Ferrin, interfered. Tom Voigt described this scenario on his Internet message board. “Blaine found Pam Huckaby (Darlene’s sister) and told her about Gaikowski. Together Blaine and Pam approached Ken Narlow at the Napa County Sheriff’s Dept… Pam interjected herself into the process and actually took her siblings to Gaikowski’s house, quizzed him about the Zodiac, asked for handwriting samples, etc. That ruined the surveillance and tipped off Gaikowski… Pam is Pam and there’s no point discussing why she behaved in such a way.” from http://www.zodiackillerfacts.com/Richar … 0Story.htm

2. "This case is a mess. First of all, while Johns claims her life was threatened, the police report tells a different story. In fact, of the three reports I’ve read, none detail any statements by Johns about being threatened in any way. (According to Kathleen, the police officers must have relied on memory when preparing her reports, as they didn’t document any of her story while she was present.) And even though Zodiac wrote a letter in apparent reference to the incident, he uncharacteristically failed to provide the details that would have clearly established his involvement." from http://www.zodiackiller.com/Johns.html

I think it goes beyond Pam.

Smithy, no. Harvey Hines may have brought it to their attention but that is just a guess. If it were Hines then the Vallejo PD seem to agree with his claims. Victor, you havn’t even read the documents above, have you? If you had, you’d know that Vallejo PD reopened their ‘Zodiac’ case because of a new suspect named ‘Kane’ and their reasons for suspecting him have nothing to do with Darlene’s sister or Kathy Johns. Also, take 5 mins to read the webpage I wrote regarding Kane if you want to know what implicates him.
