Im Running on a therory that the Zodiac was in Chinatown the night of stines murder,

I ask,
Was there any investigation as to where the zodiac was prior to being picked up?
Any witnesses via any means / police residences ?
Was anything happening in chinatown that night?

A odd question but vital to myself, was any influential people in chinatown that night?

Yes, dyslexia is probably my first undiagnosed language.

Somewhere in or close to Union Square. Detective Harvey Hines stated in his 120 page report on Lawrence Kane, "In looking at an area map of San Francisco, I found 217 Eddy Street appeared to only be two to three blocks from where Paul Stine picked up the Zodiac on October 11, 1969. I then called Inspector Dave Toschi at the SFPD and got more details on the Stine Killing.
Toschi said that they had determined that the killer had called for a cab using the public payphone located at Union Square. Toschi said the cab then picked the killer up and drove to the corner of Washington and Cherry Streets."

The Westin St Francis in Union Square has been suggested as a likely location. The taxicab meter was backtracked to an area of Mason and Geary/Union Square.

Richard, that’s interesting – because someone typically wouldn’t call a cab from Union Square. Taxis would be normally lined up in front of the St Francis, as well as other nearby hotels. If there was any part of San Francisco where it would be unnecessary to call a cab, Union Square would be it.

It came from Harvey Hines’ 120 page report, so must be regarded as anecdotal rather than official. Certainly on a Saturday night in Union Square I doubt there would be a scarcity of taxicabs, so on that front, it must be treated with caution.
