I would ask about the connection of 3 victims and 1 possible suspect all having ties and living in the city and county of Riverside. First Bates that attended Ramona High and RCC, Shepard from what I understand grew up in Loma Linda in the County of Riverside and later attended La Sierra University in the City of Riverside. Side Note is timeline of Bates and Shepard going to college in the City Of Riverside at the same time and both had a rumored study of music in common as well. Also suspect Ross Sullivan also lives in Riverside and attended RCC and worked there at same time as the other 2 mentioned. Further more Sullivan left for or transferred to Santa Cruz or a Nor Cal college in or about 1967 which happens to be shortly after Bates murder and Shepard her self leaving for a transfer to a Nor Cal college her self. Now it’s understood that Hartnell the victim attacked at Berryessa with Shepard is now himself living in The Riverside a County area and has been for some time. More to his moving south it was supposed to be only a short time after Shepard’s death and in fact he moved to the town where Shepard was actually from. All this being said RPD still will not name their suspect after many decades and after DNA has supposedly ruled this person out will still not give his name and will not move on from him. However they still do not think Sullivan is or could be The Zodiac. Just some thoughts I have and may or may not be correct about. Let me know if I am wrong or what your thoughts are.
