Reading through old Sentinel clippings from Harry V Martin. I am aware he has a mixed reputation as a journalist and is now dead.
But he surmised there was more than one killer, and I wondered if this is possible, considering the variance in M.O. the perp(s) used.
If the idea of these ciphers was to provide clues that actually steered away from the killer(s), is that concept discredited or can it be considered viable?
In other words, could there have been a team of killers, both committing the murders and releasing clues?
