Seems to me if I just got out of prison for killing a sheriff in Montana!! Its December. Wow very cold here!!!! Maybe I stashed some money from my army days and bought a car and got on my way to California. Or got on a plane and met a friend there and borrowed their car? Cant link Cheri Bates murder but then there is maybe more than one or two killers. Catch a ride with a trucker and steal a car, done that before!!!! Zodiac may not have ever left viable prints so DNA is it. He could have been very eager to get out of there and spoil the summer of love. A pic smiling proud to have killed a good old law man. He looks like the composite also!! He got to live out his short life complaining and writing to the editor. If he is not the zodiac I dont feel too bad cause he did kill a sheriff and why was he released?? Such injustice I must say!! Dont get why he is not a more popular suspect? So happy that DNA is solving old cold cases and hope this one also gets solved. I haven’t been studying this very long but will never forget how frightening it was when the zodiac killer was first made public in the media.
