Groan quote deluxe from last nights episode after only 16 hours of looking in two places in the MASSIVE El Diablo area:

Detective Sal: "There’s no bomb on Mt Diablo".
Tattoo’d Guy: "Yeah".

No, it did not include the phone number. For good reason.

So, I’m confused now. Was the phone number added after the poster was "found"? Who’s number is it anyway?

Also, was the cipher on this poster the one they were running when the computer spit out the weird poem?

They just removed the phone number for TV, apparently. The phone number is to the South Lake Tahoe Police Department. It was created by Harvey Hines and Donna’s family.

Hines and the family created the poster? And the TV show people don’t know this?

I liked how the guy was just poking away in the dirt supposedly looking for a bomb. Seems a good way to blow yourself up if there was a bomb.

Maybe Dave or Mike can answer a question on last night’s episode.
I wrote about the 13 Moon Calendar connection in January 2013 and have done many articles on this since. This was presented last night as though it was a new finding. How did this find its way on to the History Channel?

Your site was surely mentioned by someone. Have you noticed the subject anywhere else?

No I haven’t, it was written here 4 years ago, for the very first time. Nobody had ever suggested the idea prior to this. I’m not bothered, just wandering where the History Channel are claiming they got it from.

h

If you are the one who figured that out major kudos to you. Brilliant find. I had not known this before the show. I suppose one good thing about the show is that it’s probably renewing interest in the Zodiac, particularly with folks like myself who have always had an interest in it but a casual one. Maybe it will bring more on to research, people unlike me who have actual skills.

Yeah. The best part of that silly segment was that fact that they say… "Hmmm it looks like something was dug up here and the ground replaced." And filling the background is a HUGE downed tree that due to its size (and the fact that it wasn’t;t moved) was probably right in that location. So, mostly likely a stump had to be excavated, and certainly the are was tidied up with dirt being filled in. SO GOOFY!

I was mildly entertained by this series until they JUMPED THE SHARK last night..I swear the LTPD seemed to be smirking when they handed over the Donna Lass reward poster an sent the investigators off on a snipe hunt..

About halfway through episode 3, I was waiting for the narrator to say, "For Rick…and Marty Lagina…"

The first episode was interesting and seemed legitimate. The second episode left me wondering what the heck they were doing. The third episode made me wonder if I’d even watch the next two. After three hours, I can’t think of anything relevant they covered that I haven’t already read about here. They spent a few hours searching a park of over 20,000 acres! And they failed to mention that the surrounding preserve area encompasses something like 90,000 acres! Nope, no bombs here!

So far I have been singularly unimpressed by their "supercomputer" Carmen.

The only saving grace is that there are only two more episodes. Oh, by the way in case you missed it, Rick…and Marty…and the rest of the Oak Island team found a broken cap gun this week! Why can’t I stop watching this! Argh!

https://www.broadwayworld.com/bwwtv/article/History-Premieres-Limited-Series-THE-HUNT-FOR-THE-ZODIAC-KILLER-1114-20171026

This will air in 5 parts starting 11/14/17

I think this will be good and will include some surprises. Maybe some additions to the same old stuff and suspects mentioned on several other tv productions. I am proud to have had a consulting role in this, and I know that there are a few other people on this site that also had a part in this production. If they want to come forward, they can, or if they prefer to stay behind the scenes, totally up to them.

Hope everybody watches it and that it turns out good.

I like your Z wanted pic.Resembles the doctor on the Fugitive show.

SPOILER ALERT: I heard that Detective Sal gets some help in Ep. 5. NBC’s own "Alf" makes a guest-appearance and solves some cyphers. (Seriously, I am pulling for the show and hope it redeems itself in Ep 4 and 5.)

Richard,

What can you tell us about where the 13 Moon Calendar — with the Dali day — came from? There is just so little on it with a Google search. Do you know how old the Dali day term is? and whether that symbol has always been associated with it?

The Dali symbol is likely a false lead. The only relevance is the 1st day of the calendar week on the 13 month/moon 28 day calendar, which are effectively laid out the same, but without the Dali symbol. The Space Station Plaza website and Law of Time website I believe had added the Dali symbol, but after the Zodiac crimes. I’m still delving for more info mind.

So far I’m disappointed too. Of course, I’m glued to it for any morsel of new info tho…

My disappointment is the same with every single tv product. We don’t need the first 5 minutes back from commercial to recap what happened 5 minutes ago.
I mean how dysfunctional is our society that that passes for legitimate content?

CONTENT IS NOT EXPENSIVE.

artists, writers, investigators, dancers, musicians… we are literally giving these things away.

So why do tv producers insist on the repetetive format?

I guess the answer must be that the product being delivered is not original content or new information.
The TV product is to keep you there for the ads. That’s always been the case.

Thanks god for this forum where the real content is!
