Julius Kahn Park/Playground at the Presidio no longer exits. The playground the Zodiac Killer escaped to after the Stine murder.
The new name is "Presidio Wall Playground".

Last year, the San Francisco Board of Supervisors voted to change the name of the playground. Kahn is associated with extending the Chinese Exclusion Act, a racist law that became permanent in 1902 until Congress repealed it in 1943.
Members of the groups Chinese for Affirmative Action and the Chinese Historical Society have been behind the effort to rename the playground.

I will have to look if they changed the name yet on the sign. I think it still said Julius Kahn as of last week but will have to take a look. This renaming of things along with tearing down statues here is really sad. The street Phelan Ave. where I went to school on was renamed for Frida Kahlo. If they persist in this at least name it for someone who has done something of value. All I can see she did was live a bohemian life and marry a somewhat famous artist of the same bent. Since I was a kid here they have renamed a lot of the schools also. This city used to be a great place to grow up in but is such a mess now.
