They had one guy in this case in Arkansas who fit the bill as a suspect but then his dna didn’t match. At one point he even confessed to one of the crimes, this reminds me of the supposed dialogue between Allen and Cheney that Allen supposedly confessed that he would go shooting couples, disguise his handwriting, write to the police and confuse them, and call himself zodiac. This Arkansas suspect had bottles of urine which sort of matched the m.o of the crimes scenes, and he provided details of one of the crimes as though he did it. In the small town, he stuck out to law enforcement. Please give me your thoughts, as I am currently of the opinion that people can look really good as suspects but in truth they are innocent, and dna is the supernatural authority, unless of course it is faulty or contaminated.
Yes, I agree with your opinion. I recall watching this episode when it was new and remembered part of it. The suspect did look good, even confessed, but the DNA didn’t match, as you said. What gets me is people confessing to something that they did not do. I know I’m naive, but I really don’t understand a younger man raping, let alone murdering, older women. One would think they would stay within their own age groups. As to ALA, maybe he just need attention. But then so did Z.

Saw that EP a few weeks back on the ID channel and pretty crazy wasn’t him. Yep Allen fits tons of circumstantial evidence but missed the handwriting which I still think was very close to Z. Though the sketch, fingerprints and DNA rules him out

The strange part, So many people from Vallejo, still feel it’s Allen. Even people that knew a victim or two. But they never studied the case.

My guess is lot of people believe there TV news and take it for truth. That and follow others opinions and don’t care enough to check into it for themselves.
