Just a heads-up folks…
Photobucket has now made it so one has to pay $400/yr. in order to host 3rd party images. So…there will be many pages that will not show the intended photo, only a Photobucket notification to upgrade.
If you come across any deleted image you would like to see, please let us know and we will do our best to find it. In the meantime, we will slowly be replacing the PB image with the actual photos. A lot of the time, this will happen (only) when we come across it. Just keep in mind, most of us have these images saved in our computers…just need to dig them back up. The hard part might be knowing which photo we had originally posted!

I agree Zam. Any images up to the date they decided to do this should be allowed. I have a feeling they will cut their fee in half…making it seem like NOW they are offering a great deal.

I used to be able to right-click on the photo and pull it up in a new tab, but they might have caught on as it doesn’t appear I can do that anymore. I can still figure out which photo it is though…it’s just a little more tricky. If you see a photo you want re-posted…let me know.

Yes, imgur.com has been great. Easy too.
I’m not fond of the uploading attachment feature on this site. Sometimes it works ok, but larger sizes…not so much. Imgur attachments are much easier on the eyes.

Yep Zam they want $99.00 a year and want it all up front and no payments. Just maybe if one pays that, they may let the old 3rd party pics back for that user.
I’m pretty sure they will let you use your old photos, but I’m just transferring what I want as I go. Why pay $100 bucks when you can get the same service (without all those horrible ad pop-ups) for free?

Never heard that phrase! Sounds dangerous. lol
I can’t believe anyone would even advertise with them. But….I bet a lot of people freaked out when this happened and paid the money they want. What really bothers me is I can’t access a lot of my photos in my libray—-especially those where a thread they appear in was clicked on. I don’t know how that works, but I have to go in and view via a slideshow and do a print screen of the photo now. I can’t even click on it individually or download it. They suck!
