I decided to post this here because I knew the victim, Barbara Snyder. Her case is apparently still unsolved and I wonder if she could have possibly been killed by Zodiac. She was a friend to our family in the 1970s and worked as a waitress in San Francisco. Sadly, she became addicted to drugs which led to prostitution. The last time I saw her was about a year before she was killed. I remember the day a mutual friend came and told us about what had happened to her.

I did a web search and found this article. I would like to know more details about her death but this short article is all I could find.

Very tragic. Barbara was a good person with a kind heart. I will never forget her.
