Today I saw a car that a person said he bought at a police auction and it was the chief inspector’s car for the SF police department. A Ford Crown Victoria with all the options, leather seats, air suspension, and I looked inside and on the door panels it said something like "Balisitics Proof" on all the doors.

In the 60`s 70`s so many VW of all types driven by both villains and victims.
I always thought the Manson family drove around in VW dune buggys.
They did drive around in dune buggies. They mostly stole VW’s and chopped them. But they also had other cars, a couple of Dodge Power Wagons, and various others. I’ve been down to Spahn Ranch and there are rusted out hulks of cars there, in the middle of nowhere. Bruce Davis had a Corvair that is still up there, it’s called the Zodiac car!
