Don’t want to start a huge CM forum here but I think it might be worth to focus on connections between the CM family and Zodiac cases.

Amongst such connections might be the cases of Gaul/Sharp, the addresses ‘Bath Street’ and ‘Telegraph Avenue’ as well as others. Another connection which is not very commonly known is CM’s possible connection to the Riverside area.

Although for sure not very trustful, this paranormal site comes up with the ‘Solar order’ and refers to the Manson family (attention…a lot of self-produced nonsense reflected in it):
http://parareligion.ch/sunrise/manson.htm

They say that the order was founded in ‘late 1966’ and that ‘there were some pretty far-out types circulating between Haight-Ashbury and L.A. in those days’. It also mentions: ‘Ed Sanders ‘reported that at least five separate sources informed him that Manson was involved with the Solar Temple Lodge, both at the Lodge’s desert ranch, and at one of their houses in L.A., located near the USC campus. Also, Sander’s claimed that a house owned by Brayton at 1251 West 30th Street in Los Angeles was supposedly frequented by Manson.’

With such Solar order possibly being founded sometime in ‘late 1966’ and CM being a member, I wonder if it somehow may be connected to other cases. The list of Solar order members (mentioned on the website) is unreadable, for what it’s worth.

Ed Sanders "The Family" has, over the years, proven to be what Robert Graysmith’s Zodiac books are to the Zodiac case. Very popular but ultimately a lot of hooey.
