Guess some serial killers are fine with the name the media gave them. Zodiac I guess didn’t like been called the Cipher Killer and made sure he would pick his name he wanted to be called. Same with Son of Sam and wasn’t happy been called the 44 Caliber killer.
After thought…. It’s interesting that the Zodiac didn’t seem to care for the name cipher killer when that’s something he apparently is skilled at given the 340 and since its predominantly what he’s known for. Almost like ciphers were meaningless to him.

I think Zodiac wanted a more villain type name that would scare more to the public in the media. Just my opinion on it.
I find the ‘iF’ writing quite strange, as if seen before in Z letters; also the fact that the author seemed to be dyslectic, too.
