Article from May regarding Zodiac letters & Vallejo PD:

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/worl … 43086.html

Yeah. And Roy Charles Waller sucker will go behind bars, too:

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/norcal-rap … 018-09-21/

He was married and arrested on his way to work. Anybody wants a job at UC Berkeley?

Michael Henslick has wonderful hair, too. He will join the guys there in the shower, picking up some soap from the floor..

https://www.informnny.com/news/local-ne … 1406715415

and so does Darold Wayne Bowden:

http://www.goupstate.com/news/20180825/ … apist-case

Well, they all can be happy. They weren’t arrested when my grandpa was in the army.

Hundreds of crimes will be solved? Thousands! If not millions!

Looking forward to DNA being picked up from every isngle piece of trash found in the woods (they could get Kaczynski a second time on that one, I guess..).

Interesting, that Riverside Police Department, which originally suggested a possible connection between Cheri’s murder and the Zodiac, steadfastly refuses to consider such a connection now. Evidently DNA results have eliminated their prime suspect, but apparently RPD is unwilling to have bloodstains on Cheri’s clothing DNA tested. Or so one must conclude in view of the fact that they have refused to say whether or not they’ve had DNA testing done.

Did they indeed refuse or just not disclose any information to not risk any future verdict (mistrial)?

Genetic Genealogy will help sooner or later anyway, we’ll see.

QT: In my case RPD simply refused to answer my inquiry. Also, the Riverside paper seemed reluctant to follow up my suggestion they contact RPD re DNA testing of Bates sample/s.

Lodge a concern with the FBI perhaps?

Thanks, Jacob; I hadn’t thought of contacting the Fibbies. Might give it a try.

Glad to help. It might be worth a shot. Concerning if Riverside are failing in the Bates case.

Cold cases are being solved left and right, indeed!!

It was reported that semen was found in Kim Wendy Allen from the Santa Rosa Hitchhikers Murders. Wonder if the DNA has been stored properly and if there are any plans to use genetic genealogy to help solve this case?

That would indeed be very interesting:

Marie Antoinette ‘Toni’ Romo Anstey
Eva Lucienne Blau
Maureen Louise ‘Lee’ Sterling ‘(sometimes referred to as ‘Strong’)
Yvonne Lisa Weber
Kimball ‘Kim’ Wendy Allen
Jeannette Kamahele
Lauren Olmstead Willett
James T. Willett
Lori Lee Kursa (sometimes referred to as Lori Jursa)
Therese Dian Walsh
Greta Nansen Modecke
Lawrence LeGrand
Carolyn Nadine Davis (sometimes spelled ‘Caroline’)
Susan Lori Dye
Karen Frances Fisher
Victoria Lynn Schneider
Terry Lynn Ray
Kimberly ‘Kim’ Ann Stewart
Cheryl Schille Wyant

Most of them if not all killed by the same person.

Tahoe posted a message some weeks ago stating that Det. Ken Mains told her they obtained "male DNA" results from Cheri Jo’s
pants and DNA from the wrist watch found at the crime scene.

Hopefully RPD is using the same technique used to ID and apprehend EAR/ONS/Joe DeAngelo, if so then it would make sense for
RPD to keep quiet about the investigation for fear of tipping off Cheri’s assailant if he’s still alive and keeping tabs on progress
in the investigation.

If he feels RPD is closing in on him he may attempt to flee the country, which may not be that difficult if he is retired and has a
pension/social security or other retirement income. Many people from America are retiring in central america because their
purchasing power with the US dollar in some of those central american countries is astounding.

THIS IS EXCELLENT NEWS.

Sent a request to RPD on Sept. 13th, 2018
viewtopic.php?f=99&t=3939&p=65051&hilit=smudge#p65050

Mentioning the possibility of smudge on the watch one year earlier, Oct. 17th, 2017:
viewtopic.php?f=100&t=3562&p=55705&hilit=smudge#p55705

Suggesting to check the smudge on the watch on 28, Sept., 2015:
viewtopic.php?f=80&t=2739&p=41846&hilit=smudge#p41846

No answer, yet on 25, Sept, 2014 (already having sent a request to RPD)
viewtopic.php?f=107&t=1912&p=23737&hilit=smudge#p23737

Good to hear they finally got Z’s (or her killers) DNA from the smudge under his watch.

using the "deangelo dna technique" i wonder if having a rare surname speeds up the elimination process compared to having a name like Smith
