Sacramento SK Dorethea Peunte home is one of five homes on a tour last Sunday of Sacramento homes including the governors mansion. Sacramento’s old town association sold 800 to 900 tickets to the tour for $20 to $30 dollars, to tour five historic homes including Peunte’s of which is now a bed and breakfast. The 1980 crimes where Peunte murdered persons for their social security money, and buried them in the backyard.
The Sac Bee did a story last month on the house and the owners. Here’s a link to the photos that went with the article. The owners have a sense of humor and a sense of irony. Some might find the way they have dealt with things objectionable and or disrespectful but everyone deals with death and especially murder differently.
