Just saw an advert in my local paper for this , I’m thinking of going along. He’s going all round the UK :

He’s a retired homicide detective and is giving 2-hour talks on famous serial killers, including crime scene photos never seen before and concentrating on LE’s failures during investigations, so I’m quite intrigued.
Anyone read any of his books? he gets pretty good reviews on Amazon but I have a feeling the bar for serial killer books is not that high. Still, a rare opportunity to hear things from LE’s point of view.

Yeah, that’ll make him real popular with the boys still on the job…given the stress level in that profession, and what they deal with on a day-to-day basis, I’m sure they’re not too thrilled to be having their noses rubbed in their boo-boos…so to speak…especially by one of their own.
