In the 05.06.1986 letter, the author / Z claims to having ‘collected’ his ‘latest slaves..about two weeks ago up in Sacramento’.
There are indeed two people who got shot in Sacramento, Koy and Choy. The victims were subjected to a barrage of 15 rounds of small caliber fire at close range, with casings strewn around the car, both front side windows had been blown out:
On April 22nd 1986 Koy Ien Saechao (48) and Choy Fow Salee (40) were gunned down by the interchange of Highway 99 and Interstate 5 in Sacramento, California after they had pulled over to take a break. The victims were subjected to a barrage of 15 rounds of small caliber fire at close range, with casings strewn around the car, both front side windows had been blown out. A short time later a California Highway Patrol Officer was stopped by a hitchhiker in East Nicolaus informing the officer that he had just witnessed a crash, which led police to the murder scene. The hitchhiker was never traced, but was he somehow involved.
In the letter, Z refers to ‘slaves’ (plural), Sacramento and that the police almost got him. Indeed, a California Highway Patrol Officer was stopped ‘a short time later’. The witness even saw the car crash (‘killed by a freeway’).
Overall, the author of the letter refers to approximately 4-5 details + the fact that the incident had happened about two weeks earlier.
Assuming the letter to be authentic (handwriting), this makes me believe that the incident indeed may have been a Z rampage homicide.

If they were, I would say that is a GREAT find Quicktrader!
And I do agree with you that it seems like it ideed could be the Zodiac who killed those two people,
as well as writing that 05.06.1986 letter.
I have for years been convinced that Zodiac has the absolute skills to write whatever kind of handwriting he wanted to, and I think he did just that; changed his handwriting over and over, just because he felt like it and because he could, not to mention that he KNEW that people would scratch their heads for decades just because of all thise many letters with different handwriting.
IMHO he knew EVRYTHING there is be be known about handwriting and also the analysis used to try to pinpoint wheter there is a match or not, he was IMO a handwriting Wizard.
NONE of the handwritings, in ANY of the letters, confirmed, not confirmed or disqualified are his REAL handwriting.
I belive that through time 95%, at least, of both polise, profilers, armchair sleuths etc etc, has HIGHLY underestimated the person behind the Zodiac persona.

Well, that’s a discussion about fake or real..interesting is that one:
‘It appears the police concluded that Devon Stuart Olson gave a false confession, as it seems he was never charged and you indicate he was released without being charged. He must not have been able to give details that matched the crime.’
That friend was booked for giving false information to police..not sure if related. Nevertheless, he’s not booked for the KoyChoy homicide, imo it very well fit rather to Z than to this guy.
