Has anyone heard of or read anything about the so-called ‘Michigan Murders’? I had heard of this series of crimes some time ago but just saw a show on them last week. Tho, not related to Z, it shows that some Serials strike very young. Particularly interesting is that it appears the killer (John Norman Collins) killed at least 1 person while on vacation in California. Did you see Collins on the ID channel show "A Crime to Remember"? Did you see the ID channel program on Thor Christensen, and the murders he commited?

I have a press photo of the composite made of the suspect in the murder of Karen Beineman. Compare it to the actual picture of Collins after his arrest for that murder. It’s a good illustration of how composite drawings should not be considered as a realistic rendition of a suspect. Every once in a while you’ll see one that is spot on but generally there is only a slight resemblance.
