Philip and Cheryl Beadles were murdered in their Daly City, CA, home (in the "rumpus room" ), while their (Philip’s) four children slept. There was a "sexual motivation" suggested by LE and a link to a "couples club" (I assume that means, a "swingers club"). I’m not posting this in the "possible" Zodiac crimes due to the nature (in-home) of the murder.
The case is still unsolved and is featured on the Daly City PD’s unsolved crimes site:

Below are a series of four articles covering their murder and the subsequent investigation covered in the San Mateo Times during October 1975:
The third unsolved death down Denise Lampe is one of the victims of ther San Mateo CO ED, Gypsy Hill killings.

yes, that’s the series I’m working on just keep finding a few interesting articles as I scan thru the SM Times
I lived on the next street to the south, Warwick St. I went to school with their son Les. My brother delivered the SF Chronicle at about 5am every day on that street, Nelson Ct. He delivered to the Beadles’ next door neighbor named Barns or Barnes that morning. My brother came home from his paper route that morning kind of shaken up but didn’t know why.
Their son Les, and daughter Alicia went to Westborough Jr High which is now Westborough Middle School with my brother and me. Les used to get picked on and he and his sister Alicia were considered weird by the other kids. I once say a girl pour a milkshake on Les’ head in the cafeteria at lunch time.
This was HUGE in our neighborhood. Other than some Filipino gang members our neighborhood was pretty quiet and peaceful. As the story evolved we all learned that the whole family was into the swinging including the children. I always felt sorry for Les because of all the bullying that he endured. I mean this kid was picked on mercilessly…..
Also, the Barnes’ son, Mike, told us that a couple of times, late at night he saw nude couples leaving the Beadles’ house to get into cars to leave…..
